Easier said than done! While a terrific idea, we're stretched pretty thin as it is; we run 3 YouTube channels, a weekly podcast, a Patreon, multiple Twitch channels, plus this newsletter. If we ever get the bandwidth to make a CTC YouTube channel, we're on it - but right now, making and running a 4th channel sounds daunting. But we'll see!

Here’s a serious editing tip that I use. I always have the script up on a second monitor when I edit my linear content. It makes the edit much easier to follow and I know how much left I have to edit. Another one is audio db. Keep your audio gains lower than -6db or you’ll start getting into deafening territory. I have a plugin I use for Vegas Pro called LoudMax and I can set it so my audio never spikes over a certain amount.
An interesting lineup indeed but it's a little funny how we have had two Donkey Kong videos so far. I guess the council is part of the DK crew. Other than that, interesting videos and I'll give them a watch for sure!
Hey CTC team. Are there any plans to accommodate highlighting Short form creators in the future? So far there's been an emphasis on people making highly detailed long form content, but I work on making shorts talking about evolution and biology in general. I'm only just a beginner but I feel like with what I'm making I might not have a place to actually submit anything for CTC.
I watched each one. I find all of them great, but Hannah had a lot of really good insight and theming going on in her mural painting video. We got lore on the murals character, her experience with Yoga (theming with the fact that she's doing it in a Yoga center) and I love the explanation that Paint being expensive keeps her to a 2 color theme for most of her murals. It being one reason anyway, I thought it was a great little peak into the person and the art.
I also loved the breaking down of the 'literally me' trope. I love people building off of tropes they notice and this is a fun video.
I love Donkey Kong and the country series is one of my favorites. I was listening to music from the series this morning while I was chilling out. This was a great breakdown and the 40+ minute run time doesn't seem as long as it sounds due to the excellent delivery.
History is also pretty much the only class I loved cause notes were so easy to take and useful. The stories always captured me and it especially helps when it was easy to follow and given with enthusiasm. I get 'teacher who's full sending it with costumes and voices" vibes from this guy and I like it.
